reeve lake maintenance (1 Position)
Part-Time Position (20 hours a week)
Starting Salary: $17.00/hour
To begin work on 05/1/2026 until 09/30/2026
Candidates will perform a variety of maintenance, groundskeeping, and custodial duties to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of Reeve Lake, including the RV Park playground areas, and community center complex. Candidates may have other duties assigned to them by the Public Works Director. The applicant chosen for this position shall be requires to submit to a pre-employment drug test at the cost to the individual. The job assignment will begin on May 1, 2026 and will conclude on September 30, 2026

POOL CASHIER (2 Positions)
Part-Time Temporary Position (20 hours a week)
Starting Salary: $8.00/hour
To begin work on 05/18/2026 until 08/09/2026
Candidates will be responsible for receiving payments from swimming pool customers, selling concession items and performing close out reports and other duties as required such as attending to the cleanliness of the pool house and the restrooms.
LIFEGUARDS (7 Positions)
Starting Salary: $9-$10.00/hour (depending on qualifications)
Part-Time Temporary Position (20 hours a week)
To begin work on 05/18/2026 until 08/09/2026
Candidates will be responsible for monitoring swimming activities at a public swimming pool. providing emergency assistance and first aid, maintaining order and safe conditions, and performing related duties as may be required.
ASSISTANT POOL MANAGER (1 Position)
Part-Time Temporary Position (2o hours a week)
Starting Salary: $12.00/hour
To begin work on 05/18/2026 until 08/09/2026
Candidates will serve as the Pool Manager in the absence of the Pool Manager. The Assistant Pool Manager will also double check and reconcile all the sales receipts for the day and serve as the timesheet record administrator. The Assistance Manager may pick up supply orders for the concession stand from time to time.
POOL MANAGER (1 Position)
Starting Salary: $13.00/hour
Part-Time Temporary Position (20 hours a week)
To begin work on 05/18/2026 until 08/09/2026
Candidates will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising swimming programs, classes, and activities for all age groups and interests. Candidates will also perform administrative and supervisory work in the operation and maintenance of the City’s swimming pool. Candidates may have other duties assigned to them by the Friona City Manager.
